Richard G. Roeder, Jr. founded Chilltrol in September 1987, as premier service HVAC company. In 1988, Chilltrol expanded into custom home installs while maintaining a strong service background. Throughout the 1990's Chilltrol developed into a company over 80 strong. With Dick Roeder, who has over 30 years experience in the heating and air conditioning trade, and our installation and service department, with a fleet of 70 vehicles and 82 employees, and a computerized sheet metal fabrication shop, we have now become one of the largest HVAC companies in Maryland employing over 105 personnel.
